Hi There!

I'm Mark Roboff.

 

For over ten years I've worked as a technology executive and business leader at the forefront of the "AI revolution." From working on the world's first commercial AI chatbots, to solving automotive safety issues with AI natural language analysis of crash reports, to leading a global aviation technology initiative for certifying AI in airplanes, I've been doing applied AI for longer than most.

I'm also a successful entrepreneur and business leader. I've worked at large tech companies, leading software and digital transformation businesses in the hundreds and millions of dollars per year. I've also started a startup or two, where I've rolled up my sleeves to help build product from scratch and acquire those first launch customers. (The adage is true: the first million is indeed the hardest!)

Things About Me:

  • I've been a "tech-head" my whole life: I'm one of those geeks who first took apart a computer in second grade, and I was programming VB and Pascal by age ten (and C++ by age thirteen.) My first job out of college was in software engineering custom CRMs for small businesses.
  • I have "jet-fuel" in my veins: I've worked across many industries, but aviation is my home. I've been dedicated to the aerospace and aviation industries for the last 10 years, which has been a blast, as I've loved airplanes and air travel ever since I was about three. I've had the fortune to work on some really transformative stuff , such as predictive maintenance, digital twins, and software assurance for machine learning (which means figuring out how we can trust AI so that we can put it safely on an airplane!)

  • I love to share: BlueCircuit.ai is a product of my love of sharing my passions and knowledge. I promise you'll have a blast learning with me.

ChatGPT for general purpose use, especially in conversation mode

DeepSeek and Gemini (esp. Notebook LM) for research and engineering

For coding, I prefer to use local LLMs, but Claude Sonnet is a great choice too

For integrated productivity, I am huge fan of Microsoft CoPilot 365
